Welcome to Fenris Akashi Creations!

I've never been someone who fits neatly into a single box. I look at the world through two distinct lenses: the structured logic of computer science and the open-ended possibilities of hands-on building. Whether I am writing clean code or shaping a physical project, I am driven by the same simple passion-creating things from scratch.

I have always had a deep appreciation for strong logical reasoning, which is exactly why I love STEM subjects. This passion led me to earn a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (graduating Cum Laude) with a minor in mathematics, as well as work as a STEM tutor at both Portland Community College and Washington State University Vancouver.

As a freelance web developer, I bridge the gap between technical execution and clean design. I've helped small businesses establish their digital footprints, building a custom website completely from scratch as well as crafting a functional WordPress platform.

When I step away from the screen, my creativity takes a physical form. This portfolio doubles as a home for my personal creative projects-handcrafted pieces I've made over the years for friends, family, and personal enjoyment. I love working with tactile mediums and jumping between entirely different formats, including clay sculpting, painting, sewing stuffed animals, and baking decorative life like cakes.

Thanks for stopping by my corner of the internet, and feel free to explore both sides of my work!
